Corporate Participation Opportunities

There are many ways that a company can support Walk Now for Autism. In addition to asking a company to become a corporate sponsor, you can ask for their active participation in our fundraising efforts.

Some opportunities include conducting a Point of Purchase Campaign or Building a Corporate Team

Autism Speaks Point of Purchase Campaign

Companies from the retail sector, schools, and office building have a special opportunity to help build excitement for Walk Now for Autism and help raise money and awareness for Autism Speaks’ efforts.

Store cashiers ask customers at the point of purchase to buy a paper Puzzle Piece for $1.00 or $5.00 to help the store support Autism Speaks. The customer signs his/her name on the Puzzle Piece. Employees post the Puzzle Pieces throughout the store or other appropriate location.

Benefits of Conducting a Puzzle Piece Point of Purchase Campaign

  • The promotion can be used to build a strong Walk team, enhance employee morale and contribute to how much the company can raise for Walk Now for Autism.
  • Your customers will feel good about patronizing a store that gives back to its community.
  • The promotion is a natural public relations tool. Once the Puzzle Pieces begin to ‘take over’ your store’s walls, it’s time to call the media. Puzzle Piece sales are a great way to build your company¹s visibility in the community. Best of all, you can raise a substantial amount of money for autism research at no financial cost to you!
  • Chances are that many of your customers and employees have had their families touched by autism. They will be thrilled with your involvement with this program.
  • The best reason for participating in this promotion is the satisfaction you and your employees will have in knowing that the dollars you raise will help find more effective treatments for autism, and an eventual cure.

Autism Speaks will help you every step of the way!

  • Autism Speaks will provide the Puzzle Pieces and promotional stickers and posters for the employees, as well as tools and details for implementing the campaign.

Autism Speaks has both small and large Puzzle Pieces, as well as promotional stickers and posters to support the campaign. If you would like more information please email us at carolinas@autismspeaks.org or call us at (704) 561-0003 or (888) 777-6227 x7357.
