Congratulations Miami-Dade!

It was a picture perfect day in February when the Miami-Dade Walk Now for Autism made history when over 10,000 walkers on 499 walk teams raised over $556,275 putting us well on our way to our goal of $650,000 for this year!  Help us get there by following up with any outstanding pledges or by doing additional fundraising activities. See More about Walk Day.  Also take a look at Miami Walk Day Photos and Walk Video.

Donations are gratefully accepted throughout the year. Reminder: Please download and fill out the "Offline Donation Form” from your personal web page when sending in donations. Please send all donations to:

Exciting News!

Autism Speaks continues to grow and expand, thanks to communities like Miami-Dade, raising money and awareness for our mission. As the organization grows so does our need for infrastructure to best support our volunteers who are working in their communities. To that end Autism Speaks will be opening a Miami office and hiring Miami-based staff to run both the Walk Now for Autism event as well as an Executive Director who will be charged with starting an Autism Speaks Chapter in Miami that will represent and expand the  programmatic activities of the organization.

Thank you Miami-Dade County for your support and commitment to Autism Speaks.
