The walk happens rain or shine!

Pre-register- Every participant, including children, is required to register for the walk. The registration process goes much faster if your team registers online prior to the walk. Additionally, the registration process includes a waiver that is important for each individual to sign. You can register by clicking the registration tab at the top of this screen.

$150 in fundraising gets you an official 2009 Walk Now for Autism Speaks t-shirt.- Every person who raises $150 or more as an individual will be given a t-shirt. This money can be turned in online prior to the event or can be brought with you the day of the event.

Individuals raising over $1000 please visit our Grand Club area.

Fill out a donation form for each donation you bring with you to the event. - A donation form ensures that donations are properly credited to your account. A donation form needs to be completed for each donation. To print out your pre-populated donation form, log into the Walk Event. Once logged in, you will automatically be in your Personal Headquarters. Next, click on Tools and then Print Donation Form.

Wear comfortable shoes and clothing.- The walk route is a loosely enforced 5K. We encourage all people to walk for as little or as long as they are able.

Arrive no later than 10:45. - The walk begins at 11:00 AM. The access road to the parking lot is along the walk route. Once the walk portion of our morning begins, it may be difficult to access the parking lot.

Parking is free.

Visit all of the Resource Fair Providers. - Autism specific resource providers in the Central Florida communities will be at the event to talk to you about the services that they provide. Additionally, they will have activities for your children.

You may want to bring extra cash with you. - Although most of the morning is free to all participants, there will be a few items for sale such as Autism Speaks merchandise and other autism specific items.

Food will be provided.

Do not bring your pets. - The venue and elements of the event are not condusive to pets.

Encourage your team to create a t-shirt or banner to recognize your team.

Watch your email and/or mail boxes the week of the event for a detailed mailing on logistics, directions, and parking information.
