Hello Family and Friends,
This is a very exciting year for us. After 3 years of in home Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy with H.O.P.E. Consulting, Collette, who is now 5 years old, is graduating from the program on July 31, 2009. She will attend a mainstream kindergarten class in the fall, with the assistance of an instructional aide. We are so very pleased and could not be more proud of her.
But on a grand scale, there is so much left to accomplish. We continue to be involved with Autism Speaks, the non-profit organization and benefactor of the walk, as they are dedicated to: Increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders, funding research into the causes, prevention and treatments for autism, and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families.
