In 2006, we heard the words for the first time, 'your son has autism'. Since then, family, friends, therapists and teachers have worked to the greatest of their capacities to help Cash overcome the effects of autism. Nobody, however, works harder than Cash himself and his capacity to defy the odds and adapt to the world around him continues to be an inspiration and driving force for his parents.
We have embraced those words and have accepted the challenge that it brings with defiant determination that our son will ultimately become the man he is meant to be - autism or not.
With 1.5% of our population struggling with this disorder, this is a serious dilemma for our time. Join us as we seek to help others process, cope, learn, work and fight for our children's future.
