WALK DAY INFORMATION
Walk Now for Autism is a family-friendly event so bring the whole family along. There are activities for the children, resources for families, light refreshments and entertainment.  The walk day is a festival that celebrates all of the work that each walker accomplishes prior to walk day to raise awareness & funds for autism research!

Date:  Saturday, October 17, 2009

Location:  Nashville Superspeedway - Lebanon, TN

Walk Distance:  We encourage you to walk 3 laps on the track.  Each lap is 1.3 miles.  Do as many or as few laps as you are physically able and most importantly have fun.

WALK DAY PROGRAM

Registration opens: 8:00 AM 
2009 Resource Fair: 8:00 AM - 12 PM
Opening Ceremony: 9:45 AM @ Stage
Walk Start: 10 AM @ Stage
Grand Club Induction: 11 AM @ Stage
Closing Ceremony: 11:30 AM @ Stage

WALK DAY HIGHLIGHTS
Participate in the Team Tee Shirt Contest & Wagon Parade!  NEW DEADLINE FOR T-SHIRT CONTEST IS OCTOBER 10th.
A Quiet Room will be available in the for any family needing an area to retreat.

BECOME A MEMBER OF THE TENNESSEE GRAND CLUB
Grand Club members are fundraisers for Tennessee Walk Now for Autism who raise at least $1000 for Autism Speaks.

COMMUNITY RESOURCE FAIR REGISTRATION
An integral part of Walk
Now for Autism is the Community Resource Fair.  Autism Speaks would like to invite any organization who provides a unique service to the autism community to participate in the 2nd Annual Tennessee Walk Now for Autism as a Resource Fair Participant.  Email tennessee@autismspeaks.org for details.
