Walk Day Information

Walk Now for Autism Speaks is a family-friendly event so bring the whole gang along. It is a 1 mile fun walk or a 5k (3mile) route. There are activities for the children, resources for families, light refreshments and entertainment.

NOTE
In addition to the directions provided here, please access maps and directions on your own via mapquest.com online or a Thomas Guide map book. LOOP 202 AT SCOTTSDALE/RURAL RD EB & WB OFF RAMPS WILL CLOSE AT 8:30 AM TO PREPARE THE ROUTE.

Access the Loop 202 to Tempe from either the I-10 or North 101 freeways:

Option 1
Exit onto Scottsdale/Rural Road
Go South of Scottsdale/Rural Road to Rio Salado Parkway
Turn Right (to go West) on Rio Salado Parkway
Parking is available in the ASU parking on north side of Rio Salado-FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE

Option 2 - To utilize Drop-Off Zones
Exit onto Priest Drive
Go South on Priest to University Drive
Turn Left (to go East) on University Drive and go to Ash Ave
Turn Left (to go North) on Ash Ave
Drop-off zone will be after entrance to US Airways garage just before Rio Salado
Turn Right (to go East) on Rio Salado to continue on to ASU parking lots-FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE

Option 3 - To utilize Drop-Off Zones
Exit onto Priest Drive
Go South on Priest to University Drive
Turn Left (to go East) on University Drive and go to Mill Ave
Turn Left (to go North) on Mill Ave
Drop-off zone will be just before Rio Salado in the meter spots
Turn Right (to go East) on Rio Salado to ASU parking lots-FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE

Option 4
Exit onto Priest Drive
Go South on Priest to Rio Salado Parkway
Turn Left (to go East) on Rio Salado Parkway
Parking is available at the Hayden Ferry garage on the north east corner of Rio Salado &
Mill Ave- $5 PARKING FEE

Or continue south on Rio Salado to the ASU parking lots-FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE
Access the 60 freeway from either the 10 or 101 freeways:

Option 1:
Exit onto Mill Avenue
Go North on Mill Avenue (approximately 3 miles) to Rio Salado Parkway
Turn Right (to go East) on Rio Salado Parkway
Parking is available at the Hayden Ferry garage on the north east corner of Rio Salado &
Mill Ave- $5 PARKING FEE
Or continue south on Rio Salado to the ASU parking lots-FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE

Option 2:
Exit onto Scottsdale/Rural Road
Go North on Scottsdale/Rural (approximately 3 miles) to Rio Salado Parkway
Turn Left (to go West) on Rio Salado Parkway
