Join Tien & Tiffany as we fight to find a cure for Braden

Our four and half year old son Braden was diagnosed with autism almost two years ago. He is incredibly fortunate to be attending a center based Applied Behavioral Analysis program for the past year and half where he continues to make progress. Braden’s most amazing achievement this year is calling his parents “mommy” and “daddy”. Having both an older and younger son, we took those simple words for granted and now realize how truly precious they are to hear from all your children. Braden continues to experience significant deficits across all skill domains, which is why Tien and I felt it was so important to get involved in Autism Speaks. It is our deepest desire to increase awareness of autism spectrum disorders and support critical on-going research into the cause, prevention, and treatments of autism. At a time like this in the midst of a recession impacting so many families, it would be easy for us to say "How can we possibly ask family and friends to join us this year for Walk Now for Autism Speaks?" The simple truth is, our son Braden has autism and we will never give up hope celebrating him and what life can hopefully become once a cure for autism is found. That's why we will walk this year and the next in honor of Braden. From the bottom of our heart’s, we thank you for supporting our family in this journey with Braden and all the other families affected by autism by joining us in the Walk Now for Autism Speaks.

All adults and children need to be registered individually if you plan to participate in the walk.
