Did you know that Autism now affects 1 in 100 children in the US - 1 in 38 boys!
I am proud to be participating in my 3rd Walk Now for Autism event. I walk as a tribute to my my boy Corey - he works so hard to overcome the challenges he faces due to autism. I also walk because I know that each of us CAN make a difference in this fight - every dollar that goes towards additional research, testing, educational tools, etc. can and will make a difference to our kids. Our kids have so much to offer this world, but they also need us to help empower them to navigate a world that is not always "autism friendly". I am so proud of Corey and the progress he has made, but I know we have a long ways to go yet. We will do it, with the help of wonderful family, friends, teachers, therapists, doctors and organizations like Autism Speaks.
