Hello! On Sunday, October 18, 2009, Team Murphy of Sudbury will again participate in Autism Speaks’ Walk Now for Autism.
The Walk is Autism Speaks’ signature fundraising and awareness event powered by volunteers and families just like ours with loved ones on the autism spectrum. Our efforts, along with your support (!!!), will generate vital funds for autism research and raise awareness about the increasing prevalence of autism spectrum disorders.
Autism Speaks’ mission is to change the future for all who struggle with this life-long and complex disorder. We are committed to raising funds to support their goal and help countless families in the Greater Boston area improve their child's quality of life from Early Intervention to Adulthood. And so we ask you to please contribute hope today to those who deal with the hardships of of a life that is heavily defined by autism.
If you are looking for a fun and exhilarating way to spend Sunday, October 18th, we would be honored if you would join us at the Greater Boston Walk. We can show up in force for an incredible organization with heartfelt cause. The walk starts at 10:30 and is held at the Suffolk Downs Racetrack in East Boston. Breakfast snacks will be available at 9am, and, lunch, entertainment, and family activities are also offered wrapping up a fun-filled day.
