Six years ago those four words changed our lives. Since then we have spent our time assembling Zack's Team. Not just the team that walks each year, but the dedicated group that works tirelessly to help Zack reach his goals. We've been blessed with a patient nanny, a town that puts Zack's needs first, and a school that strives to teach Zack appropriate behaviors so that he may reach his potential. We have loving family and generous friends.
We are lucky that we have these resources for Zack. So many children and their families are not so fortunate. With the money it raises Autism Speaks can help these children and their families. It can support research, train the future generation of teachers and provide direct support and knowledge to affected families. We hope for the day when families can hear the words "Your child has been cured of autism".
