Our team has rallied around Seth Hoffman, a great kid with autism.

Join our family's efforts to support autism research.

Autism is an increasingly common neurological disorder. Statistics show that 1 out of every 150 kids born in the US today have autism. Research dollars are not being used to work on autism nearly in proportion to the increased incidence. We still do not know what causes autism, how it works in the brain, what can be done to help kids overcome it, or how kids with autism think and learn differently. There isn't even a medical diagnostic test, which is so important to getting help when kids need it the most, in the early formative years. And a "cure" is nowhere in sight.

Statistics don't tell the story, though. Our family has been touched by autism in a personal way. Our son, Seth, age 14, is a great kid, and fortunately a smart kid with a wonderful personality. Nevertheless, his autism makes it more difficult for him to learn and operate in a social world. Research could help him - and the many families even more impacted by autism - greatly.
