These four simple words define the facts. They are words that a new family will hear every 20 minutes. They change everything.
As all of you know, we heard these words a little over five years ago when our son, Ethan, was 2 years old. It has been quite a journey since then and we've learned alot--about autism, about our son and about ourselves. While Ethan has made progress, he still has many challenges that grow more complex with age. Continued research and legislative advocacy are needed to help Ethan and millions of others reach their full potential. This is why we support Autism Speaks.
