I still remember the day we were told that. We didn't quite know what it meant, or the long road we would have before us.
Our life is no different than any 'typical' family --- we just do things in a 'non typical' way.
Our son is our life and joy. His learning abilities surprise us each and every day, and watching his growth and abilities are nothing short of a miracle.
By participating in this event, my hope for every family out there is that we will find a cure and that we will soon hear “Your child no longer has autism.”
